What is morril tower?

Morrill Tower is a high-rise residence hall located on the Ohio State University campus in Columbus, Ohio. It was opened in 1965 and was named after Vermont Senator Justin Smith Morrill, who sponsored the Morrill Land-grant Act that provided funding for colleges and universities that emphasized agriculture and engineering. The tower is 24 stories tall and houses undergraduate students, as well as graduate, professional, and international students. It contains 1,270 beds, as well as study and lounge areas, laundry facilities, and a restaurant. It is also home to various student organizations, including the Morrill Scholars Program, which provides full-ride scholarships to academically talented students from Ohio. The tower has undergone several renovations over the years to improve amenities and modernize the facilities.
